This year at the Artist Resource Center (ARC), Spacetaker, in partnership with Amegy Bank, hosts the second series of “Focus on Finances” Happy Hours. The second series will introduce artists and young arts organizations to basic entrepreneurial practices, including financial management and accounting. These informal, informative events will focus on demystifying accounting terms and processes, Quickbooks orientation and budgeting, and constructing project-based budgets for artists and cost-center organizational budgets for organizations.

Part 2 on October 7th will focus on:

-Project or Cost-Center Budgeting for Organizations

Spacetaker and Amegy will provide refreshments and hand-outs of the presentation for attendees.

Following the all Happy Hours, attendees will be surveyed to assess the target subjects for later workshops.
